The house was a mid-century modern ranch styled home updated to a new-century modern ranch home. It had a low-sloped (1.5/12 pitch) hip roof with an 8 foot ceiling height throughout and dark walnut wood paneling on the walls. The whole roof was removed along with half of the interior walls. The ceilings are now 9 to 13 feet in the front and 11 to 16 feet on the back. It has 9 clerestory windows that naturally light up the house and keep it warm during the winter. The little overhang blocks out the hot summer sun. It also has a 2 foot cantilever in the back and on half of the east side. The house looks big but it's just 1,900 square feet upstairs and 1,600 down.
